Winter Singles League - Registration 2021 - 2022
Dear ELTC Member,
The new season of Winter Singles League is fast approaching. The deadline for your application for the Winter Singles League is midnight Saturday 9th October.
The league will go live on Saturday 16th October and end at Midnight Saturday 11th December. As usual there are 3 sessions each lasting approximately 6 – 8 weeks.
The league is open to all Full members and Junior members in the 13-18 age group category. If you are not in one of these categories and want to upgrade your membership for the remainder of the year please contact our Membership Secretary, Mike Derome at mfderome@gmail.com.
If you are new to the club or looking to expand your playing partners, the league is a great way of getting to know different people.
Please use our online entry and payment system for the WSL. Enter using the Club's MyCourts system
https://ealingtennis.mycourts.co.uk
You may already be familiar with this process as it is the same system used for our main summer tournament.
If new to ‘My Courts’ system. Go to ELTC web site. Go to ‘Tennis’ and in the drop down menu click on ‘Tennis Book a Court (Members Only)’ – Sign in with your user name and password. Go to ‘Tournaments’ select 2021 and sign up on the Winter Singles League registration form (Adult or Junior) Adult fee is £10 and Junior fee £5. The fee covers all 3 league sessions, no further fees are required.
Note: If you are new to the WSL and are unknown to the organiser, Mike Knibbs, you must email a full description of your standard to mike.knibbs@btopenworld.com. Failure to do so may result in a delay to your registration and entry.
Please consider the commitment required prior to joining the league as inactive players cause frustration for others. You will be required to play up to 6 tennis matches in each session, over a 6 week period. Attached are the WSL rules which may assist you in your decision
I will update WSL competitors of any COVID advice or requirements on an ongoing basis.
There will be end of season prizes for various categories including, most improved, most active and of course the winners.
