Playing opportunities from Monday 29th March - social, teams, coaching
Dear members,
With the Club re-opening from this coming Monday, I wanted to update you on some playing opportunities:
A message from Janice regarding the Wednesday evening social:
Good news, Wednesday social evenings will restart on 31 March.
The arrangements will be the same as last November, whereby only six members are permitted per court, with no off-court socialising. Therefore members will play in groups of four for 30 minutes and then be changed into a different four. Each player will be guaranteed two games, more if space available.
* As previously, you will need to register with me (janice.coulthard@ntlworld.com) by the midnight the previous Sunday and an email will be sent advising your allocated court and time.
* Play will start from 6.00pm.
* When registering, please advise your preferred start time.
* The cost will remain £3 for the time being.
These arrangements will be reviewed in April. I look forward to seeing you all again.

With the competitive season approaching, we will be holding the various team training/trials, which will be split on Sunday 4th and 11th April. Your team captains will be in touch...
A message from the Ladies 5th team captain - Alison Boardman:
This season we should finally see the debut of the Ladies 5th team and we’d like anyone who might be interested in playing team tennis this summer (who is not already part of a team) to get in touch (atrickey897@gmail.com) so that we can get you involved.
The 5th team was established for the 2020 due to the rapid rise of our ladies 4th team. The 4th’s rise up the leagues meant that social players and some juniors had limited opportunities to enjoy playing team tennis. Therefore, the purpose of the 5th team is to provide a place for social players or juniors and to serve as a link for new members into Ealing’s team structure.
With so many new members and limited court availability for the first few weeks of this season - we’d like to invite any member who would be interested in playing for the 5th team to respond and contact team captain Alison Boardman 07772918959 or atrickey897@gmail.com
Who is the 5th team is aimed at?
- Women and girls (aged 13 and over) who have not played team tennis before,
- Those who have played in teams before but who might not get as many opportunities as they would like
- New members that are trying to establish themselves at the club

This includes adult coaching for beginners and intermediates with HC Tennis on Thursday morning and Sunday's from April 18th.
The price for one class over the 7 week term is £147.
