ELTC February newsletter

Dear all ELTC members,

We hope you were all able to get enough tennis of late with the two storms that we've had. Groundsman Will had to look after the dome through the winds and whilst the heating dropped out once, we've hopefully got through the worst of it!

George continues this week with his half-term camps where more than 20 juniors participating each day.
Dome courts continue to be busy in the evenings with adults.

With the summer approaching, we are planning team trials/practice from 15th March.
Details to follow next week...

Also in March, on Saturday 7th the Club will be showing both Six Nations rugby games from 2pm including Ireland vs Italy and England vs Wales.
Come down for some entertainment and drinks...

A date for the diary is Saturday 13th June where the Club will be hosting the second year of Ealingbury...

This year, Finals Day will be Saturday 18th July...

A polity request to look after the dome courts, as a number of times we have found chewing gum on the surface, which is no good!
If you are the last to leave the dome courts in the evening, please remember to shut the gate door which will lock automatically.

And a thank you for members who have engaged in the change of process to take all guest fees on MyCourts from this year.
It is easier for the Club to account for guests and easier for members to pay for their visitors.
As a reminder of how to pay guest fees:
1. Login to your secure members MyCourts area
2. Click 'transfer credit' on the left-hand side panel
3. Enter amount to transfer
Select the appropriate 'guest fee' from the drop-down menu
Enter the guests name under 'memo'
4. Submit"

The Club has some exciting 'green' projects in the pipeline and from next week it will be easier to recycle in the clubhouse...

Members can look forward to viewing a promotional ELTC video in March, which has been kindly produced by members Terry Leahy and Mai Yoshida...

As the sun DOES approach, do you let me know if you are looking at any tennis holidays and I can point you in the right direction...

Best,
James
ELTC Club Manager
