The Ealing Summer Match play (Tennis Rungs Ladders) will run until Saturday 19th September in the same format as it is currently running.

This year the Finals Day is on Saturday 19th September.

Scoring Format
Matches up to and including the semi final will be 2 tie break sets and a match tie break.
The Finals will be best of 3 tie break sets.

Due to the current high demand on courts the tournament committee have reserved a 1 grass and 1 clay court for next week, until Sunday 9th August.for tournament matches. Please email ELTCtournaments@gmail.com for a court.

In evenings, the grass can be booked at 5pm and 6.30pm. The clay can be booked at 6pm and 7.30pm. There is some flexibility at other times.

If the courts are not booked we will release them at 7pm the day before for other members to use.

After 9th August, please book courts as per usual booking system. We recommend booking 1.5 hour slots for matches.

Please note that the first round for men’s singles and men’s doubles needs to be completed by 15th of August so please scheduled your matches as early as possible.

Those competing in the Singles Ladder will be asked to temporarily leave the ladder whilst they are in any Club Tournament event. Once they are knocked out, they can re-join the single ladder.

Members can play in both the club tournament and doubles ladder but can still choose to temporarily leave the ladder in order to manage their timetable and matches better.

If you have any queries please ask fellow members who have played in the tournament before or email the tournament committee at eltctournament@gmail.com
