ELTC CLUB TOURNAMENT (Open, Handicap and Vets)

Dear Member,

The draw for these events is online at https://ealingtennis.mycourts.co.uk If you have forgotten your logon then click on the "Forgotten Password" link and use the email address that this message was sent to.

From this afternoon the draw will be on the clubhouse noticeboard. All can follow the events online event even if you have not entered.

For those who entered please note the following; - the men's handicap singles and men's Open singles - entrants will get a separate email about the compulsory day arrangements.

***A REMINDER HANDICAP EVENTS WILL BE PLAYED WITH SUDDEN DEATH DEUCE IN ALL GAMES***

For those entering doubles events who did not have partners we have successfully found you one.

Those entering without a partner will get a full or partial refund depending on circumstances described above.

More generally for arranging matches both parties have equal responsibility to do so.

If you are having difficulty you should let the tournament committee at eltctournament@gmail.com know well in advance of the deadline. Situations such as trying the arrange the match a couple of days before the deadline and then finding you cannot agree a date will not be dealt with sympathetically. That will usually result in both parties being scratched from the draw. - to arrange your matches, when viewing the draw you can see your opponents contact detail when you click on their name.

********************* CONTACT DETAILS AND GDPR**************************
Contact details for opponents can be found in the Members' Directory on the MyCourts system.

Due to GPDR and new data protection laws, if you have not Opted In your contact details will show as ex-directory. This makes it very hard to contact your opponents.

To change your privacy settings, you need to logon to the MyCourts system https://ealingtennis.mycourts.co.uk/ and then choose "Privacy Settings" from the menu on the right hand side of the page. Then put a tick against the contact information that you would like other members to see.

Your privacy settings can be changed at any time, so if you want to make them ex-directory you can do so at the end of the tournament.
************************************************************************

Finally the results of the matches should be entered both online and on the noticeboard by the winner. In the case of doubles the person who entered online needs to do this. That will be the person whose is displayed first in the pair in the draw. Good Luck to everyone in your matches.
