Please see below important Tournament Notices!
Organising Fixtures
Contact your Opponents as soon as possible to fix a date and time for your matches.
Please ensure you stick to the Play By Dates. It is better to play matches earlier if you can. If you cannot agree a date then please contact the Tournament Committee on eltctournament@gmail.com to determine who progressed to the next round or if both players get scratched.
All Finals will be played on Saturday 22nd July from 11.00 am.
Tournament Courts
Please book the courts for your Tournament Match online via MyCourts. Recommended Timings.
o 1.5 hours for Open, Restricted and Senior Events
o 2 hours for Handicap Events
Tournament Results.
Please record all results (Winner and Score) on the Draw sheets. (These will be up in the Clubhouse from the weekend).
Please also record the Winner on MyCourts.
Results may also be emailed to eltctournament@gmail.com
Scoring Formats:
Open Mens and Women’s Singles and Doubles
Up to Semi-finals: Two Tie break sets and Match Tie Break
Finals: Best of 3 Tie break Sets
Open Mixed Doubles, Restricted Mixed Doubles, and Senior Events
Two Tie break Sets and Match Tie Break
Handicap Events
Best of three tie break sets with sudden death at deuce, receiver’s choice. (In the Handicap Mixed doubles, the player of the same gender as the server shall receive the deciding point. The players of the receiving team cannot change positions to receive the deciding point.)
