Dear Member,
If you have already been playing in round 1 or 2 you will be automatically entered into the next round (no further fees to pay) If you wish to drop out please let me know.
If you wish to join the WSL for the 3rd and final session please submit your entries by Thursday 23rd January.
Details of how to enter are shown below.
The league is open to all Full members and Junior members in the 13-18 age group category. If you are not in one of these categories and want to upgrade your membership for the remainder of the year please contact our Membership Secretary, Mike Derome at mfderome@gmail.com.
If you are new to the club or looking to expand your playing partners, the league is a great way of getting to know different people.
Please use our new entry and payment system for the WSL this year. Enter using the Club's MyCourts system
https://ealingtennis.mycourts.co.uk
You may already be familiar with this process as it the same system used for our main summer tournament.
A detailed explanation of how to do this is attached. But if you are already using the MyCourts system, logon (under ‘book a court members only’) and then on the Menu at the top of the screen click on “Tournaments” and select “2019”.
The Winter League event is displayed. Adults should select the Adult entry where a £5 entry fee will be debited from your account. Juniors should select the Junior entry where £3 will be debited from your account. The fee charged covers the final 2 sessions
Note: if you are new to the WSL and are unknown to the organiser, Mike Knibbs you must email a full description of your standard to mike.knibbs@btopenworld.com. Failure to do so may mean we are unable to seed you and likely to result in you missing the first 6 week session.
The second round will go live on the 28th November and details will be published on the Clubs web site and posted on the notice board in the club's foyer.
Please consider the commitment required prior to joining the league as inactive players cause frustration for others. You will be required to play up to 6 tennis matches in each session, over a 6 week period.
There will be end of season prizes for various categories including, most improved, most active and of course the winners.
The full rules of the league are attached.
If you require further information drop me an e-mail at mike.knibbs@btopenworld.com
Many thanks,
Mike Knibbs
